Macwin Construction PTY. LTD was established in the KZN region during April 1991 by William MacDonald who sought to provide the market with a construction option that was highly efficient, while still maintaining the utmost standards of contracting that the company has become known for through its years of operation. These core standards that the company instilled in its early years of operation are still relevant today and is one of the decisive characteristics for the company’s continued success.
From humble beginnings Macwin Construction has grown to an exceptional contracting option with over 180 employees and a fleet that have covered the various contracting options required. The company also remains owner operator driven by William MacDonald who oversees the operations of the company, thus allowing for an intimate relationship between Macwin and its customers.
Macwin initially put the majority of its focus and expertise on the residential market but has developed over the years to become more renowned for its work in both the industrial and commercial sector. One of the key aspects that provide Macwin with its competitive advantage is the fact that management is able to make quick and accurate responses to any questions or queries that inevitably arise during the construction process
Since its inception Macwin has always attempted to give back to the community. This has been achieved through different forms of assistance to numerous establishments from the donation of services and supplies such as wheel chairs, computers, recreational equipment and recreational equipment to The Browns School for children with special needs; to the supplying and installation of geysers to Queensburgh Old Age Home.
We understand the significance of supporting our own employees and have set up a trust that allows all employees the opportunity to be shareholders in the business and its successes.
We at Macwin are aware of the significance and importance of the BEE (Black Economic Empowerment) initiative and take extreme pride of our rating of 4 on the BEE scale.
